How to edit your school details
To edit your school details, kindly log into your account and click Admin => by your left-hand side, click the drop-down for Settings => General.
Step 1: Edit your school details
Here is where you change your admin email address and website/school name.
After editing your email address and school name to the new name, kindly scroll down, and save the changes.
Please note that this change would not take effect on your login details and website URL, as you will still need to log in with the email you signed up with and your website URL cannot be changed.
Step 2: Customize your menu
Here is where you choose the menu tabs you want to show your students.
- Activate Homepage: When you do this, you can design it as you like, so that your students can land somewhere outside your course landing page when they load your website. You can refer to this link for steps on how to activate your homepage.
- Disable all lessons tab: This removes the all lessons' menu tab from your screen. The all lessons tab shows all your lessons, from oldest to newest or from newest to oldest.
- Disable contact page: This disables the contact form that allows your students to send you emails with their requests.
Disable subscriptions screen: Since subscriptions only work with Stripe, you can disable it if you do not plan to activate Stripe in your account.
- Disable student comments: When you disable students' comments, this means that your students would not be able to comment on your lessons.
- Disable Google sign-in: There are two ways in which students can sign in to your account, it is either they use Google or email/password. When you disable Google sign-in, they can only sign in with their email/password.
- Disable email/password sign-in: When you disable this, students can only sign in with Google.
Step 3: Offer a guarantee to your students
Offering a guarantee is a great way of increasing sales. For a good quality course, the percentage of students that ask for a refund is minimal.
When this has been added, it shows like the screenshot below when students are about to take your course.
You can always uncheck this box and click Save if you would not like to offer a guarantee to your students.
To do this, kindly log into your account and click Admin => by your left-hand side, click the drop-down for Settings => General => scroll down and untick the box to offer the guarantee or reduce the number of days => Save Changes.
With these very easy steps, you can now edit your school details.
