How to use any Third-party Video Platform as a Video Hosting Provider (BunnyCDN, etc.)

In OnlineCourseHost.com, we offer you the option to uploading videos on our platform. But if you prefer to host the videos in YouTube, Vimeo or anywhere else, we support that too.

This tutorial teaches you how to host your videos on any third-party platform other than YouTube or Vimeo.

The only requirement is that the video platform needs to support an HTML embedded video player.

So this won't work with something like Google Drive, etc. it needs to be a video hosting platform with video embedding capabilities.

To use third-party video platforms, you need to copy the code of the videos and paste them in your video lesson.

In this document, we will be looking into how to get the video embed code for Loom, Vimeo, and YouTube.

How to get a Loom video embed code

To get the loom video embed code, login to our Loom dashboard => click the video in question => and click Share by your top right-hand side.

Then, click Embed => and click Copy Embed Code.

How to get a Vimeo video embed code

To do this, login to your Vimeo dashboard => click the video in question => at the top right-hand side, click Unlisted, and scroll down the side panel to make the video Public.

Afterward, click Embed by your top right-hand side => and click Copy Embed Code.

How to get a YouTube video embed code

To do this, login to your YouTube dashboard => click the video in question => scroll down the video => click Share => and click Embed.

On the next page, you can then click Copy.

How to upload the video embed code

Thumbnails are not fetched for videos from other platforms, as the box accepts videos from any platform. You can refer to this link for more information on how to create a video lesson.
