Stripe Payment Methods on OnlineCourseHost.com
There are two payment gateways available on OnlineCourseHost.com – PayPal and Stripe – through which course creators can receive payments from their students.
After activating Stripe with the steps in this link, course creators can then choose the types of payment methods that can be used on their checkout page.
By having different types of payment methods, you can easily reach more students globally, and increase conversion rates on your platform.
Available payment methods
These payment methods are categorized into eight types. Below are the payment categories, and the payment gateways allowed across different continents.
CARDS
- Global: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Diners.
- US & Canada: Discover, and Interac (in-person only).
- Europe: Cartes Bancaires.
- Asia: JCB, and China Union Pay.
BANK DEBITS
- US & Canada: ACH Direct Debit, and Canadian PADs.
- Europe: Bacs Direct Debit, and SEPA Direct Debit.
- Asia: BECS Direct Debit.
BANK REDIRECTS
- Europe: Bancontact, BLIK, EPS, giropay, iDEAL, P24, and Sofort.
- Asia: FPX, PayNow, UPI, and Netbanking.
BANK TRANSFERS
- US & Canada: ACH Bank Transfer (Beta).
- Europe: SEPA Bank Transfer, UK Bank Transfer, and Multibanko.
- Asia: JAPAN Bank transfer (Furikomi).
- Latin America: Mexico Bank Transfer.
BUY NOW, PAY LATER
- US & Canada: Affirm, Afterpay/Clearpay, and Klarna.
- Europe: Afterpay/Clearpay, and Klarna.
- Asia: Afterpay/Clearpay, and Klarna.
REAL-TIME PAYMENTS
- Asia: PayNow, and PromptPay.
- Latin America: Pix (invite only).
VOUCHERS
- Asia: Kombini.
- Latin America: OXXO, and Boleto.
WALLETS
- Global: Apple Pay, Google Pay, Secure Remote Commerce, and Link.
- US & Canada: Cash App Pay.
- Europe: Mobile Pay (invite only).
- Asia: Alipay, WeChat Pay, and GrabPay.
How to turn on my payment methods?
To turn on these payment methods, kindly log in to your Stripe dashboard => click Settings => Payments Methods => under your connected accounts, choose OnlineCourseHost.com => and select Edit Settings => turn on your preferred payment methods => scroll down, and click save.
Please note that the payment methods you will see on your dashboard and can connect to would depend on your country.
