Q and A session with your students

Just like in a physical classroom where students ask their teachers questions at the end of each lesson, your students on onlinecoursehost.com can also ask you questions at the end of each lecture. 

There are two ways through which your students can contact you, and they are: 

The contact Screen

This screen is a menu tab that cannot be disabled and whatever your students send to you would be emailed to you, with their email address so that you can send them a personalized response. 

The Lesson Commentary Screen

To have access to this screen, log in to your account => click Admin => by your left hand side, click the drop down for Settings => School Details, and ensure the Student Comments on lessons are enabled. 

When this button has been enabled, your students can freely ask you questions during each lesson.

They will need to log in to their accounts => click Courses => View Course => click the lecture in question => scroll down, and click the Add a new question button.

These questions are emailed to you, so you are aware of them. You can then log in to your account as an admin to answer the students.

To do this, login to your account => click Courses => View Course => click the lecture in question => scroll down, and click the Add Answer button. 

Who can view these Questions and Answers?

Every student who has access to your course would be able to view all these questions and the answers you give to them, regardless of when they were asked and who asked them. 

This could also curtail the number of questions you get, as students can read up on some old questions and answers for things they do not understand.
