Lifetime and Team Plans

Onlinecoursehost.com offers your students a wide range of plans to suit their various needs.

In this article, we will look at the key difference between the Lifetime plan and the Team plan.

Lifetime Plan

With lifetime access, your users get access to all your content, forever, with no recurrent charges.

The Lifetime plan is shown next to the monthly and yearly plans, and it is mostly used to make the yearly subscription price look smaller.

Lifetime prices make sense because every customer that uses subscriptions, has an expected average value for their subscriptions, so it is okay if you set your lifetime price way above the expected value.

A lifetime plan is a great thing to add to your subscriptions page for a couple of reasons:

- a few customers will just straight out go to the Lifetime plan directly, so you can benefit from those larger sales

- but most of all, the Lifetime plan acts as an anchor price, which makes the prices of the Yearly and Monthly plans look much smaller and more appealing in comparison.

In order for this to work, the Lifetime plan should be high, but not exaggeratedly high. We recommend making 3 to 4 times the value of the yearly plan, but not much more.

To also work well, the Lifetime price needs to be high but still believable to the student. If the student thinks that the Lifetime price can't be real, he will question the credibility of all the prices on the page, and of all the websites in general.

Team Plan

This plan is similar to monthly or yearly subscriptions, but for a group of persons or teams.

For example, as an organization or team leader, you can purchase access to 10 students from a course creator, and invite them all to take the courses.
Your customer can purchase in bulk for as many students as they want.
