How to set up Google Analytics & Google Search Console
Connect Google Analytics and Search Console into your course website to gain valuable insights about who visits your course website and how they interact with your course content.
By understanding your audience and how they use your website, you can:
- See how many visitors are coming to your course website and where they're coming from.
- Analyze how students interact with your course content, analyze their behavior, see which pages they visit, how long they stay, and where they might be getting lost.
- Gain insights into the keywords people are using to find your course on search engines, allowing you to optimize your course description and marketing efforts.
In order to integrate Google Analytics into your course website, follow the steps below:
- Sign Up for Google Analytics: Create an account at analytics.google.com if you haven't already.
- Now, you need to get your Tracking/Measurement ID: To get your Tracking/Measurement ID in your Google Analytics dashboard
- Go to Admin => Data collection and modification => click Data streams => Select the Web tab => Find the measurement ID in the first row of the stream details.

Integrate Google Analytics with OnlineCourseHost.com
- To do this, login to your account => and click Admin => Settings => Integrations.
- Input your measurement ID and click activate.
- Then, go back to your Google Analytics dashboard (the page where you copied the measurement ID) => click Data Streams => your domain name.
- Then, on the next page, click View Tag Instructions.
- Move to Install Manually => copy the Java Script code.
- Lastly, go back to your website with us => click Admin => Integrations => scroll down to Other Third-Party Scripts => Add Script => Paste the code there, and save it.
Finally, give it time for data to show up. Then, use it to see insights on traffic sources and keyword rankings. This helps you make smarter choices to improve your online course.
To check for real-time reports, go back to your Google Analytics dashboard => click the side bar, Reports => click Real-time Overview.
Note: The real-time report will only show when students access whatever domain name you activated on Google Analytics, and generated the measurement ID for.
