How to manage assignments

OnlineCourseHost.com's "Manage Assignments" feature simplifies the process of managing students assignments by allowing you to efficiently review, approve, and provide feedback to your students' assignments.


Ready to use the Manage Assignments feature?

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Log in to your OnlineCourseHost.com account.
  2. Click "Admin" on the main dashboard.
  3. On the left-hand side menu, scroll down and click "Manage Assignments."

An email is automatically sent to you when your students upload their assignments so that you can review them.

Here, you can see all your submitted assignments, the ones you have approved and rejected. 

Step 1: Download the assignment

Click the three dots beside the course title and click the Download File button to download the assignment into your computer or mobile. 

Step 2: Send a message

Click the three dots beside the course title and click the Send Message button.

Here, you can send a message to the student in case you have any feedback regarding the submitted assignment. 

Step 3: Approve the assignment.

Click the three dots beside the course title and click the Approve Submission button. 

When you do this, the student will get an email that his/her assignment has been approved. 

Step 4: Reject the assignment

Click the three dots beside the course title and click the Reject Submission button. 

When you do this, the student will get an email that his/her assignment has been rejected.

You can then follow this up by sending a message, telling the student why the assignment was rejected and tips on how you would like the assignment to be submitted – Step 2.

Assignment Formats that your students can upload

Your students can upload their assignments in the format below. However, these uploads must not be more than 100 MB.

Documents: DOCX, PDF, RTF, ODT, TXT, ZIP, EPUB.
Sheets: XLSX, ODS, TSV, CSV, PDF, ZIP.
Slides: ODP, PPTX, JPG, PNG, SVG. PDF.
Videos: MP4.
Music: MP3.
Images: JPG and PNG.
