How to track your students' activity

Keeping track of your students’ progress is key to delivering an effective learning experience.

This help document will walk you through how to view and understand student activity within your course—whether you want to see who’s completed a lesson/course, track engagement over time, or identify learners who may need extra support.

To do this, log in to your platform => click Admin => Manage Students => click the student in question, and click Activity Log. Here, you can see the date your students started their courses and their progress.

If your student has not started any course, it will show that they have no activity.

However, when they purchase a course or have a course assigned to them, you will see the following events on their activity log:

=> The date and time they purchased the course or got assigned to the course - enrollment date.

=> The date and time they started the course.

=> The date and time they unenrolled from the course.

=> The date and time they obtained their certificates.

=> The date and time the student was created.

=> The date and time they signed in.

=> The date and time they logged out.

=> The date and time they visited the course - this gets updated when they visit the course sales page of each course.

=> The date and time they completed the course.

=> Their last activity on the course - this gets updated immediately you log out of the platform.

For students enrolled in multiple courses, you can search for each course individually using the Select Courses box.

You can also search according to the activity you want to know by using the Select Events box, and download a CSV report of all the events by using the download button.
