Social Media Sharing Feature on OnlineCourseHost.com

The social media sharing feature has been designed to enable you to share some pages on your course platform on social media platforms like Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, Pinterest, WhatsApp and Email.

To enable this feature, kindly login to your website => click Admin => Navigation & Socials => and tick the button to enable the Social Media Share Bar.

On that same screen, you can also choose the way you want the social media share bar to show on your website, and depending on your options, the sidebar will be displayed on all the pages on your website, except the Admin dashboard.

What pages can I share on my platform?

When the social media share bar has been enabled, you will be able to share your Homepage, Course Page, Course Sales Page, Custom Pages, and Course Player.

This allows you to send real-time updates of your platform or courses/lessons to your social media platforms, so that with a direct click on the link, users can be automatically redirected to the exact page you want to show them.

Note: if you share a page from your OnlineCourseHost subdomain, the URL will display OnlineCourseHost.com. However, if you share it from your custom domain, it will display your custom domain.

Will my social share URL display my platform's image?

Pages that have signature images like the course sales page, course player, and custom pages will load preview images on social media platforms that accept preview images. However, pages like the homepage, and course page will not load preview images.

What pages can't I share on my platform?

The following pages on your platform cannot be shared: Community, Subscription, Page Builder, Analytics, All Lessons, Contact, and Admin Dashboard.

Also, please note that the social sharing sidebar is visible to everyone who uses your website URL, whether they are logged in or not.

Can I disable my sidebar?

Yes, you can display your sidebar by going to Admin => Navigation & Socials => and ticking the button to disable the Social Media Share Bar.

Here, you can also choose to disable the social media platforms you do not want to show.

Note: By clicking the settings button under the list of social media platform on the sidebar, you will be redirected to the Navigation & Socials screen in the Admin dashboard.
