Overview of the Page Builder

The page builder has been created for course creators to create pages for their online school. Under the page builder, you can create homepages, bundle pages, and custom pages.

Under the page builder, you can edit default/existing pages, like the homepage and bundle page. However, if you want to create your own page, you can create a custom page from scratch.

To get started, kindly login to your website => click Page Builder in the menu tab => and click Create New Page.

Then, you can pick the page you would like to create => Blank Page, Home Page, or Bundle Page. This opens up a page for you to update your page information.

Page Settings

=> Page Title is the name you have chosen for your page. If you leave this empty, the page title will inherit the name of your website.

=> Page Description is what your page encompasses. This will be visible in search engines, and social media platforms if your page link is shared.

=> Unique Page Path is the URL through which your page can be reached. Whatever you put in this box will be added to your website URL, to form a link for that page.

Note: The Unique Page Path allows only lowercase letters, numbers, and dashes. Should you have more than one word, kindly separate them with a dash (-), not space.

Home Page

The home page comes with four templates that you can edit. You can also add more sections as you go, depending on how extensive you want your page to be.

To create a home page, kindly login to your website => click Page Builder in the menu tab => and click Create New Page. Then, pick the Home Page option and click Create Page.

You can refer to this link for more information about the page builder's homepage.

Bundle Page

The bundle page comes with two default templates that borrow information from the bundle you have chosen to display.

Some sections under these templates cannot be edited, as the bundle builder has been designed to use the information in your course bundle to fill in the blanks.

To create a bundle page, kindly login to your website => click Page Builder in the menu tab => and click Create New Page. Then, pick the Bundle Page option and click Create Page.

Kindly refer to this link for more information about the page builder's bundle page.

Blank Page

This page has been designed to allow course creators to create a page afresh. Here, you will make use of the different sections in the page builder to customize your page.

To create a custom page, kindly login to your website => click Page Builder in the menu tab => and click Create New Page. Then, pick the Blank Page option and click Create Page.

Afterward, fill in the information about your page, and click Create Page. On the next page, click Page Settings to upload an image for your page, and Save Changes. Then, you can start adding sections to your blank page.

Sections of a Page Builder

The page builder comes with 15 sections that you can use to create different pages. To create each section, you can refer to this link for more information: Sections of the Page Builder

Page Builder Tabs

The Page Builder comes with two tabs, which are the Content and Design tabs. Whenever changes are made in these tabs, the Save button must be used to ensure that the changes are not lost.

=> The Content tab is where you upload everything about your page sections: texts, images, hyperlinks, HTML codes, videos, features, etc.

=> The Design tab is where you outline the layout of your page sections: colors, background images, text alignment, block styles, media alignment, feature background, etc.

How can I use the pages I have built?

After creating your page, you can:

=> Set the page as a home page.

=> Add the page to the top menu.

Note: you can also delete the page with the delete button above. To do this, login to your website => click Page Builder in the menu tab => click the three dots in front of the page in question, and click your desired options.

=> View the page by clicking the eye icon.

=> Copy the link of the page by using the hyperlink icon.

=> Edit the page by clicking the pencil icon.
