Invite-Only Community Access

An invite-only community is one where membership is restricted to individuals who receive a personal invitation from community administrators.

This model ensures that only selected individuals who meet specific criteria or share common interests and values can join.

To enable Invite-Only Community Access, kindly click the Community tab in the top menu => Settings => Community Access => select Invite-Only Access => and click on the Save button.

Inviting Members

To extend invitations to individuals to join your community, please adhere to the following steps.

Step 1: click the Community tab on the top menu => Members => Invite Members.

Step 2: Kindly proceed to indicate the number of students you wish to invite.

Note: You may leave this field empty if you prefer to invite an unlimited number of students.

Step 3: Please specify the expiration date for the link, if applicable (this is optional).

Step 4: Click on the 'Create Link' button to generate your Community invitation link.

Step 5: Click 'Copy Link' for your community invitation link. You may distribute this link to users until it expires or reaches the maximum number of users, and at this point, it will no longer be valid.

You also have the option to delete the generated link to invalidate it.

When the student utilizes the invitation link, they will be redirected to the sign-in page. A prompt will then appear, indicating that they have been invited to join your community.
