Paid Room Settings

A paid room is one in which community members have to make a subscription before they can access it.

This room will be visible to every community member, but only subscribed members can view the posts in the room, interact in the room, and make posts in the room.

To create a paid room in your community, kindly log in to your website => click Community => Manage Rooms, and Add a New Room.

Room Details

Your room details include a room name, description, icon, and image.

For the image, we recommend that you use one that is 1200 x 280 px and under 5 MB in size. This will appear at the top of your room page.

Room Options

Under the room options, you will decide who can view and make new posts in the room.

Access

To create a paid room, you need to pick the “Paid Access” option.

Price and Benefits

After picking the paid access option, you need to set monthly and yearly prices and benefits for your paid room.

Room Benefits are things your community members get to enjoy when they sign up for the paid room, as opposed to the free room which everyone has access to.

Please, note that you need to input, at least, 4 benefits before you can save your paid room settings.

Who can post?

Also, you need to decide who can make posts in the room.

You can either choose to allow all community members in the room or just admins.

After setting up your room, you can scroll down the page, and click Save.

Can I delete a room I have created?

Yes, you can always delete a room you have created. To do this, log in to your website => click Community => Manage Rooms => click the settings of the room in question => Delete Room.

How can Community Members join my Paid Room?

To join your paid room, community members have to log in to your website as students => click Community, and the room in particular.

Then, prospective members need to activate a plan and make payment for the subscription through Stripe before getting access to the room.

Note: You can always give community members access to the paid room by clicking Community => Members => View Members => Rooms => Give Access.
