How can my students sign up as affiliates?
They can do that in their dashboard => Settings => Join Affiliate Program.
Must my students complete their course before they can be affiliates?
No. Anyone can be an affiliate in your online school, inasmuch, as they have created an account on your platform. This means that your affiliates do not have to purchase your courses.
I don't use PayPal, how can I pay my affiliates?
As OnlineCourseHost.com does not make payments directly to the affiliates, once the Course Creator knows which affiliate commissions are due for payment, they can use any payment method.
Course creators can also download a CSV file from the Affiliate Dashboard and make a mass payment to their affiliates via PayPal.
What is a Cookie Window?
This can be seen as the expiration delay of a link click. Imagine you set the window for 30 days. If someone clicks on a link and makes a purchase in the first 30 days after the click, the affiliate will get the corresponding commission.
Notice that if the purchase is a subscription, the commission will still be paid recurrently even after 30 days. So if you are an affiliate and get someone to purchase a subscription, you will get your commission while the subscription remains active, which could be years.
What should I set my Cookie Window value to?
60 days seems to be a common value among course creators, but you can input any value that will favor your online school.
I want to make changes to my affiliate settings, how can I do that?
You can make changes in your affiliate settings by going to your Affiliate Dashboard and clicking Settings.
Can I disable my affiliate program?
Yes. You can disable your affiliate program in your affiliate dashboard. To do this, kindly login to your platform => click Admin => Your Affiliate Program => Settings => and click the button to disable it.
What can my students do with their affiliate links?
Your students' affiliate links can be used to purchase anything on your platform, ranging from courses to course bundles. When a sale is made, a commission is calculated and attributed to the student who shared the link.
Where can I view all the affiliate commissions that are due or paid?
All commissions that are due or paid can be viewed from the Affiliate Program Dashboard. You can then mark the commission as paid on the dashboard once it is paid.
What do my students need to become affiliates?
Your students need to provide their valid PayPal email addresses to become active affiliates.
Can my affiliates sell subscriptions?
Yes, they can. If a user purchases a subscription, the affiliate will get paid for the duration of the subscription, as long as the subscription is active.
Even if the subscription gets extended beyond the cookie window, the affiliate will still get paid. All the affiliate needs to do is give the user any of the provided affiliate links.
